A few kind words from WSPS customers...

I just wanted to thank you for all your great work. I was bombarded with texts, emails and calls telling me that the packages were the cutest things anyone has ever seen. Thanks for making me look like a rock star!

- Bridgette S.

I recently ordered a tiny letter to send to my father on his 60th birthday. It was his birthday on Saturday, he lives in the UK and I live in Canada, so we Skyped. He told me how delighted he was with the letter. It brought a tear to his eye and he loved the unique way it was presented and all the little extras (my initial on the wax seal, etc.). I just wanted to thank you and say I will definitely be using your wonderful service again and will recommend it. It's a wonderful creative way to deliver a happy message to someone when you can't be with them.

- Lisa J.

I ordered my mum a World's Smallest Letter from my 8 month old daughter and she received it today. I just wanted to thank you so much! She absolutely LOVED it! She loved it so much she started crying! I've ordered a World's Smallest Parcel for her too now!! Your packaging and presentation is amazing!

- Steph A.

Thanks again for all your efforts and for making this possible - you deserve the cupid medal of honor.

- Volker N.

Learn more about the World's Smallest Post Service...

How It All Began (1 min, 40 secs)
The WSPS began in 2008 as a quirky little social art project. Postmaster Lea Redmond set up her tiny roaming office in cafes and shops in the San Francisco Bay Area and offered a teeny tiny letter transcription service to passers-by. At these appearances the letters were transcribed by hand on a miniature, wooden roll-top desk in the tiniest of script, sealed with a miniscule wax seal with the sender's initial, and then packaged up with a magnifying glass.

ReadyMade Magazine
Lea Redmond isn't exactly sure how she decided to become postmistress of the World's Smallest Post Service, but a fortune cookie may have had something to do with it. "If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing," the cookie said - a message Redmond, 28, has taken to heart... read more >

BoingBoing.net
I'm a firm believer in clinging to as much childlike wonder as possible. I love it when people take it upon themselves to inject a little magic and whimsy into the human herd. A few examples, one from my past that's stayed with me, one a recent discovery. Years ago... read more >
