Swirly Heart or California Poppy:
Save-the-Dates or Wedding Invitations

These are simple and sweet save-the-date cards with a swirly red heart or California Poppy on the front, custom info on the inside of the card, and a real wax seal stamped with the outline of a heart or your initial. We can also use your original artwork or Lea can develop custom imagery based on your wedding theme or location. The tiny envelopes can be all the same or customized for each recipient.

Each save-the-date or invite is carefully placed in a clear coin case, which is then enclosed in a glassine envelope along with a magnifying glass. It's then sent to your recipient in a larger padded mailer to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

"Airmail" Wedding Invitations

These tiny blue and red striped airmail envelopes are just one inch wide and were part of the invitation package we completed for Brittany and Nathan. Inside, each wedding invitee discovered a tiny invitation with a hand-drawn typewriter on the front and a miniature folded map of the wedding location! Also included were custom RSVPs in which attendees would send back the red button for "yes" or the blue button for "regrets".

Lea, I think at this point everyone has responded to our invites and they are a total smash! So many people told us the same thing 'these are the most awesome things ever.' They're blown away at what you do and how creative it is! We're so happy to have had your help in doing something so totally different and unexpected. Thank you from the bottom of our normal sized hearts.

- Brittany & Nathan -- Portland, OR

"Pink Flamingo" Wedding Invites

To match the theme of a beachfront Florida wedding, we sourced a perfectly sized pink flamingo and a footprint ink stamp for the tiny invitation. They were then packaged up in a tiny package along with a magnifying glass and a copy of the Small Times newspaper. Each package was adorned with tiny canceled stamps, personalized invitee information, and string.

Here's what the bride had to say about our work...

Thank you so so so much for wedding invites in tiny packages! Everyone is receiving them in the last couple of days and we are getting tremendous amounts of feedback. Here are a few texts that we have received. We are so happy with the final results - thanks for your hard work! -- Katie

And here's what recipients told the bride and groom...

Your wedding invitations are freakin adorable.

This may be the coolest wedding invitation ever.

We all LOVED the wedding invitation!!!! So clever and very different. Love it so much.

"Mirror Image" Bat Mitzvah Invites

For this special Bat Mitzvah concept, we printed an accordian-style invitation backwards and included a small mirror in the tiny package. This created an interactive experience for the recipient, who then used the mirror to read the invitation. For those without the patience (or keen coordination) to decipher the code, key information was also printed legibly on the back.

These custom invites also included a copy of the Small Times newspaper, an RSVP card, and carefully chosen flower stamps for postage. We also designed a retro movie ticket for seat assignments and a hand-drawn lip balm label for the party favor!

Holiday Cards for Design*Sponge

The founder of the Design*Sponge blog, Grace Bonney, commissioned us to create these special snowflake holiday cards for her staff. The envelope featured a giant snowflake, personalized "to" info, a canceled tiny heart stamp, and a wax seal stamped with a "B" for Bonney. The card inside revealed heartfelt holiday wishes.

Season's Greetings From G2

Tiny letters are a great way to reach out to clients – old, new, or prospective – and get noticed. Your company is likely to be the talk of the office when your tiny mailing arrives, just like it was for G2!

Delivering Stegosaurus...

At left is one of a big batch of custom tiny packages we designed and made for the Toledo Museum of Art. Each package includes a miniature architectural blueprint of the Main Museum wrapped around a limited-edition Alexander Calder "Stegosaurus" lapel pin. The pin is a miniature reproduction of a giant Calder sculpture at the museum entrance.

Each package was stamped with "VIA AIR MAIL" and "SPECIAL DELIVERY" and included miniature "FRAGILE" and "THIS SIDE UP" stickers.

Reviews from the Toledo Museum of Art...

We're so happy with the custom WSPS packages you made for us! They are so precious.

Everyone is loving them Lea!

Once again, thank you for working with us on this truly special project, and especially such a large one!!

SF MOMA Donor Appreciation

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art hired us to develop a concept for a donor appreciation mailing to celebrate the museum's 75th anniversary. We designed this eye-catching tiny card, which was enclosed in a tiny envelope with SFMOMA's logo - and produced over 400 of them. Also included was a magnifier with original artwork provided by SFMOMA and a custom wax seal on the larger glassine envelope.

Promotional Mailing for Aplifi

Aplifi, a software and service provided to the insurance industry, hired us to create a memorable product announcement that was sent to hundreds of clients and potential new customers. Each card featured the company's logo on the front and opened to reveal detailed product information and a specific call to action. A magnifier was included, and each tiny card was enclosed in a coin case and a glassine envelope secured with a wax seal.

The response rate from recipients was far higher than typical direct mailings with a 30% increase in website traffic. You can read more about Aplifi's experience working with us at Deliver Magazine.

Perkologist Client Thank Yous

We put the Perkologist logo on the tiny envelope in the return address area. We can also make teeny tiny official business letterhead.

"The Wonder Book" Announcement

Our pal Amy Krouse-Rosenthal asked us to create a special announcement for her new book, The Wonder Book. The tiny card opened to reveal an image of the book cover and shipped inside a tiny envelope along with a magnifying glass.

By the way, Amy does all sorts of amazing projects! Definitely check out The Beckoning of Lovely and her really sweet and whimsical children's books.
