When I was a child…

My mom just dug this out of storage. Wow!
I was eight when I made this. Notice the
sweet dispensing action.

Before starting Leafcutter Designs, Lea curated an exhibit about the history of wool in the Pacific Northwest, spread the word about Fair Trade Certified coffee, taught a bookmaking and haiku class at The Edible Schoolyard, coordinated a creek restoration project at the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, and even assisted a scent alchemist for a spell. Lea believes that even the smallest, subtlest experience can change the world.

How cool. When I was little, I used to make post office boxes on put them on my bedroom door and make mail and deliver it all over the house!! :-)

Wow . . . so what you’re saying is that all of that education between then and now hasn’t harmed your artistic sensibilities (but maybe has changed you relationship to global brands) :)
